("App"), developed by BambooSoftware ("we",
"us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store,
and protect your personal information when you use the App on
Android or iOS devices.
By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Data We Collect
2.1. Personal Information
Full name, username
Email address and phone number
Profile photo
Date of birth, gender
Blood type and health status (if you provide)
2.2. Location Data
GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude) to determine your location in emergencies
Location history for rescue situation tracking
2.3. Device Information
Device type and operating system (Android/iOS)
Device identifier
Push notification token (FCM)
Language and theme preferences
2.4. Emergency Contacts
Name, phone number, and relationship of emergency contacts you provide
Contact Selection Feature (Optional):
The App requests permission to access your device's contacts (READ_CONTACTS) to provide a convenience feature that allows you to quickly select emergency contacts from your phone's contact list.
Important notes:
This permission is completely optional — you can manually enter contact information without granting access to your contacts
The permission is only requested when you tap the "Select from contacts" button in the Emergency Contacts screen
We only collect the name and phone number of contacts you explicitly select
We do NOT automatically read, scan, or upload your entire contact list
We do NOT access your contacts for any other purpose
Selected contact information is stored securely on our servers and used only for emergency notification purposes
Social login information (Zalo OAuth — we only receive access tokens, not your social media password)

3. How We Use Your Data
Emergency services: Determine location, send alerts, connect with rescue teams
Push notifications: Send SOS alerts, natural disaster warnings, weather alerts, and nearby incident reports
Emergency contacts: Notify your designated contacts when you activate SOS
Contact access (optional): When you grant contacts permission and choose to use the "Select from contacts" feature, we access only the specific contact you select to auto-fill the emergency contact form. This feature is designed to save you time and reduce manual data entry errors.
Service improvement: Analyze anonymized data to enhance user experience
AI assistance: Verify incidents and analyze situations using artificial intelligence
Account security: Detect unusual logins and prevent abuse
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data is only shared in the following cases:
Rescue teams: Sharing location and incident information to support rescue operations
Authorities: As required by law
Service providers: Firebase (push notifications), AWS (storage), Zalo (social login) — bound by confidentiality agreements
Emergency contacts: Your designated contacts will be notified when you activate SOS
5. Data Protection
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
JWT-based authentication with limited expiration
Unusual login monitoring and automatic account lockout
Regular security audits and system updates
6. Data Retention
Your data is stored on secure servers. We retain data only for as
long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
When you delete your account, personal data will be removed within
30 days.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access and view your personal data
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Withdraw consent for data collection at any time
Disable location tracking in device settings
Disable push notifications in app or device settings
Deny or revoke contacts permission at any time through device settings (you can still manually enter emergency contacts)

8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do
not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover data from
a child under 16, we will delete it immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant
changes will be communicated through the App or via email.
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of
the revised policy.
